3D punishes CLAMP’s wonderful artstyle, no kidding. But as a work made from scratch looks pretty nice. The two other girls have actually been made as well, Umi is the one I’ve been looking for, hehe. If someone makes Mokona, I’ll get a laugh for real.

Elecbyte has only made KFM besides the engine itself, NyanKiryu (aka NyanTMKiryu, Nyan*Kiryu and whatever else) is the actual author. It’s a conversion from MUGEN’s cousin SFXVI (unlike Knuckle Fighter engines seemed to be filled with actual content and not mostly Japanese memes and weird stuff), very simple in gameplay but it works. Considering the creation is about 2 decades old, it shows (like kinda garbled sound). As long Umi exists at least as a striker for this engine, I’m happy. On the other hand many people would rather touch the KOF-based more recent version by Rikard which has been left unfinished but remains a hella nice work.

I admit I haven’t been around in 2007 (first saw MUGEN in 2008/2009) but I find it totally hilerious that people actually digged this up. Not even a joke version but a bait/fad. Idk whether XCB’s fake leak came before people leaked his real version. To sum it up, I had a good laugh, I looked on purpose. But rating it. Plaez… It wants a rating, huh… whateva
