View File ElmoFan17 ElmoFan17 by... who the fuck else? A very terrible edit of a spriteswap (this is an edit of Joey Slikk's "creation" Evil Warioman's Elmo, a spriteswap of the cheap as hell Evil Elmo), where the only changes are the palette, Barney, Kohaku and Bloo being replaced with users he hates and Elmo's Song being replaced with a song I... can't seem to recognise. Best to avoid this one, as this is being uploaded solely for collection purposes. Submitter GarfieldfanMUGEN Submitted 03/03/2021 Category Edited Characters

View File Muscle Man Muscle Man by BeanFan112 (last updated 8/23/2015) A rather interesting relic from 5 years ago, this is the completely untouched (re)release of BeanFan's final version of Muscle Man from before he retired. I even gave my own feedback from a long lost video from when I had the Garfieldfan22 name (I split my non-MUGEN stuff into TheGarfster, leaving the name Garfieldfan for my MUGEN stuff). I know BeanFan's stuff wasn't... great, but this shows he did try to improve sometime before his retirement. Submitter GarfieldfanMUGEN Submitted 02/22/2021 Category Cartoon Network

Ah, the time I was really into MUGEN and I tried fighting this thing multiple times. Much harder than Sonic 2's though. Pros: Pretty accurate for a boss character, but not fully. The usage of Eggman voice clips make this better. The ability to make the opponent drop rings a la the Sonic games. Cons: It's a boss character, so of course he's gonna be tough if you don't know what you're doing. As far as I know, stronger than Eggman's other machines converted to MUGEN, so he can kill in a few hits unless you have a lot of health. I could be wrong.

sEqUeL tImE Pros: absoultely none at all Cons: Remember my other one-star, saying kids shouldn't touch MUGEN? This is absolutely the reason why. The person who made this is also one of those kids who bash the opinions of people who bash creations by other kids who are friends with him. Case in point, the comments here:

I AM CORNHOLIO! I REQUIRE TP FOR MY BUNGHOLE! WHAT IS THIS? ARE YOU THREATENING ME?! Pros: Moves accurate to the show and Do America. Sprites are really fluid. Hilarious references to the show scattered here in there. FFFROOOOOOOOOOGGGG BAAAAAASEBAAAAAAALLL! Fast and insane gameplay most likely based off King of Fighters. Cons: You might or might not risk a copyright strike if you use this for YouTube due to a winpose. I don't completely know.

Okay, so one star might be harsh, but listen close. This character is broken in many ways, most of which were listed on Mugen Free For All. The fact the author has a negative reputation because his characters aren't great. And every. Single. CHARACTER. HAS HUGE FLAWS. It's obvious that the author may not listen to feedback as he gets upset whenever constructive criticism is posted. Not only that, this is just one of all the characters he's made. Just look at a release of one of his characters on MFFA after seeing the one on this character. You won't regret it. 😉 Pros: There aren't any. Cons: I'll just go ahead and copy feedback from someone on MFFA with short versions by me and some minor edits. Missing important 5000 sprites, making Hiroshi completely invisible in some hit animations, and in all grabs that use the throw anim. Bagurasshu can be used on infinite repeat till' the opponent is KO'ed. A lot of hurtboxes are pathetically small, only covering 40% of his body, and some are STILL copied and pasted from Kung Fu Man. No running states. Trying to run will cause debug flood. No sprites are even using Palette 1,1 they are scattered everywhere, making the SFF a complete disaster. Also... the icon is a really awful resize, and looks pretty horrid. I considered doing a patch to fix a few of these issues until the author's response to the feedback on MFFA. So I just suggest staying away from this guy's stuff. It also proves what I've been telling myself: Kids should never touch MUGEN.

Perhaps my favorite Sonic in MUGEN at the moment. From the amount of moves he has, to the mechanics that SeanAltly's Sonic (which is where the sprites originate from) has. This is overall one of my favorite MvC-style characters. Like a good bit of G-knux's characters, it seems slightly faster than most MvC-style characters to me (though to be fair, this is Sonic the Hedgehog we're talking about, so it makes sense). Pros: Moves that fit Sonic very well, including those from CvTW. Monitor mechanic from CvTW Sonic makes its way in. One winpose has a few of the Act/Stage Clear themes from throughout Sonic's history The faster gameplay suits Sonic well. Cons: The character's file size seems more bloated than G-knux's other characters, though this may be from the Act Clear winpose. One or two confusing design choices for a MvC-style character.

View File Sparkling Zone [S1 Proto] "This stage combines elements from the original stage and, what it would later become, Spring Yard Zone. The idea to make this came from the Sonic 2 proto/Long Edition stages already available for MUGEN and was started on New Year's Eve 2020 (EST. The proto rolled out around 7-7:30 PM for me). This comes with the Spring Yard Zone (RAC Maury Mix) track, already looped by PlasmoidThunder. A 1.1 varient is also included, using basic zoom coded provided in a OldGamer tutorial. A special thanks to Hidden Palace (especially drx and Buckaroo) for bringing this prototype into the public." Submitter GarfieldfanMUGEN Submitted 01/14/2021 Category Sonic Stages

View File Hatsune Miku (Light ver.) Hatsune Miku Light by YU-TOHARU (last updated 5/20/2010) Basically an old version of Miku, but without a lot of song-based hypers cramping up the file space. Still has 3000+ sprites and that really long hyper. Good news, it's under 30 MB. Bad news, it doesn't work on 1.0 or 1.1, just WinMUGEN (at least from what I tried). My first stage that was done from scratch and felt proud of (it's not much of the former, as I made a couple stages before then. Hi-Res, animated, comes with two music tracks (the main level theme from the game itself and Mappy Medley from Smash Ultimate) and compatible with M.U.G.E.N 1.0 and 1.1 (with zoom).-

Ruby Rose by OHMSBY, edited by Mushypepito123 Not the best version or edit of Ruby out there, as this removes the Bursts (as far as I know) for more custom ones and adds a super jump like a lot of MvC-based edits, as well as makes her even worse to fight by bumping the power stock from the default 2000 to MvC's 5000. Would be best to stick to the original. (To use with M.U.G.E.N 1.0, save the SFF as the version 1.0 uses.)- 1 review

View File Garfield Garfield by fer619 and aperson98, edited by AverageMaster. This edit brings new moves and more comboing potential to an old character. Also adds more voice clips (including one from the live-action movie) and revamps his winquotes. Actually would prefer this over the original (which is good on it's own, don't get me wrong).
