In Power mode he gets a lot bulkier at the cost of his mobility, and in Speed he becomes faster at the cost of having weaker attacks. As someone who's been involved with MUGEN for over 10 years I feel right at home in this thread! Based off your roster I'm assuming you're more specifically looking for stuff from the 2007-2011 era. DejaVuFlame did a great job listing a lot of that, though I feel there's a lot more to add, namely: WEIRD EDITS CARTOON/COMIC CHARACTERS VIDEO GAME CHARACTERS ANIME CHARACTERS ORIGINAL/MISC CHARACTERS ACTUAL FIGHTING GAME CHARACTERS Now you too can be a leecher from 2010!!! Make sure to use the "Everything vs. Everything" screenpack for maximum authenticity.

I don't consider myself someone who plays video games (which is a little ironic coming from the guy posting on a MUGEN forum) but I will love Worms: Armageddon for as long as I live. Easy to pick up, packed with creativity, and the perfect game for when you want to screw around with your friends. For a game that's nearly 25 years old, it's amazing.

This has always been a favorite of mine. I get especially nostalgic every time I hear it since it was in the first ever MUGEN pack I downloaded, all the way in 2010 or so.

Fun and functionality are my top 2. Fun comes first though. or more elaborately: 1. must be fun to play as. I love combos, juggling, all that good stuff. I'd take a fun, cheap character over a really stiff and clunky character any day of the week. 2. should not cause any major bugs. Definitely nothing that crashes MUGEN, and nothing that breaks the character either.

Way back in 2011 I remember downloading a pair of KFM edits called "Light KFM" and "Dark KFM". The light one was wearing an all-white gi and the dark one an all-black gi. I don't remember if they had any different moves from normal KFM. What stood out to me at the time was oddly enough the fact that whoever made the edits put their full name in the .def (as in first middle and last). It's a little more common nowadays, but doing something like that in an age where the internet was still relatively anonymous was almost unheard of. Funny thing is, I don't even remember the guy's name anymore... anyway the KFM edits vanished in 2012 when the site they were hosted on, esnips, closed down. The amount of people who downloaded those specific edits was probably less than 500, which just goes to show how important preservation is in the community.

Trying a smaller approach than usual. If you look closely you'll notice that I don't have any Street Fighter or SNK characters beyond what PotS made and I'm trying to correct that. Still very much a WIP, if I had more free time this thing would be filled out much sooner.
