View File Glitchtale Gaster Glitchtale Gaster was made by: "Chudee" Gaster with the power of all 7 souls, (but not actually engulfed by them, fights with all traits in hand, and he was aided by his two sons. However, after Sans died protecting them, Gaster was fuelled by pure rage, driving himself to draw power from within himself & Papyrus to obliterate his opponents, brutally tearing them all apart and striking blow after blow, until he stopped for Papyrus's sake. With that, all of his opponents were finally killed. Great character, wonderful concept, and has potential, but the AI is not too strong. On par with a Gramsen character's AI to be honest. View File X Gaster X Gaster was made by: "Matrillex" About two years ago I decided I wanted to make XGaster as he tied for first place as my favorite AU character At first it started out as a sprite swap as I wasn't fully sure how far I was going to take it 8 breakless hours and I finally got a sprite that motivated me enough to give it ago In order to make some sprites work, I had to change the animations as well Then I started getting ideas for altering the attacks, then ideas for entirely new abilities It eventually reached a point where nearly nothing was the same, some noticeable, others changes massive There have been many problems along the way and getting things to work correctly Many things also went through several redesigns, some of which was through the help of people I asked for criticism and am still looking for that [Additions]; (Things that weren't there before) * All new sprites * Additional Sounds * New Animations * Two Combo attacks * Gaster Blasters * Teleportation * XAlphys assist summon * 20 Gaster Blaster * New Palettes [Remade and recoded abilities based off previous code]; (Some of these can debatably go in the first catagory) * Invisible attack has been completely changed into Overwrite * Telekinesis is now an attack with the self hiting remove and a damage number added to it * Ultimate has been heavily alterted * One hand shield has been changed to 8 Hands summon with changed hitbox, scaling, animations, physics * Followers have been changed to XTale characters and have minor tweaks to behavior * Gaster Blaster Bite has a new sprite and is bound to (A) instead of (X) * A single hand forcing the player into a heart has been changed to 7 Hand Attack with new hitbox, scaling, and animations, physics Similar to another character, it's time limit is removed * Slam single hand down is now slam 8 hands down with new sprites, scaling, and animations * Soup can has been changed to trap new new sprites, damage, physics, and animations * 3 Taunts [Sprite and animation only changes]; (I only changed the abilities sprites and the animation for those sprites) * Send Hand Forward * Dodge Forward * Dodge Backwards * Hand Attack * Rising Gaster Blaster * Summon Gaster Wave * Summon Lowering Hand * Intro and death [Abilities that haven't been touched]; (No coding, animations, or sprites; I do want to remake them) * Dash Attack (Might only get new sprites) [Removed abilities]; (Didn't fit/took up a space that I had other ideas for] * Fade into ground * Door summon * Determination Extractor * AI activate * WingDing talking * Cross place * PalFX as it wasn't allowing palettes [Removed sprites]; (Didn't fit) * Error messages * Walking effects * Random boxes (Everything here was also written by Mattrillex) XGaster is a major character in XTale and Underverse. He is the sole creator of the XTale universe. XGaster had lost complete motivation towards creating a perfect world, but after his visit by Ink!Sans, XGaster invests more time to creating "the perfect story" for his universe. This motivation causes tensions, not just within his own universe, but to many others soon afterwards. After many tries to create a unique world for his two children to live in, XGaster is in realization that he doesn't know how to and believes he's wasting the power his SOUL contains. Feeling that he isn't good enough for his children, he tries to destroy his own SOUL, in hopes that it will free them from the universe. Ink!Sans, after recently making a truce with Error!Sans, senses a disturbance in XGaster's universe. Without Error knowing, he goes to investigate the AU, only to find a man and his two children. He learns of the problem, and decides that he'll help the owner of this AU in the same way he used to help creators before they abandoned the multiverse. He and Ink became friends, with the latter showing him the multiverse for any ideas for his universe. Ink shows him and his two children many AUs, including Underswap, which helps give him inspiration for his own AU. Sometime during this trip, he is given a name: XGaster. View File W.D. Gaster W.D. Gaster was made by: "1850, Sumin" W. D. Gaster was the royal scientist before Alphys, responsible for creating the CORE. Gaster's Followers relay various explanations as to what happened to Gaster. One iteration says that he "fell into his creation," another says that "his experiments went wrong," and the last one says he "shattered across time and space." Characters such as the River Person and Gaster's Followers hint at his existence. Similar to Sans and Papyrus, he speaks in a typeface different from the other characters. Gaster acts a boss character, for every time you hurt him, you must press the down button after hitting him to trigger his follower's phases. Attack or press down on the followers to deal damage to him. Gaster is invulnerable to every single attack except for physical attacks that trigger his phases.
