❥❱ Yes, as promised, it is HERE. it is the middle of may, therefore you shouldn't be surprised to see this post lol either way, there's a lot to talk about here! so let's get to it:
✧ What's this tournament for?
For fun! This tournament is for people to battle it out to receive the number one spot: a 1TB drive / 500+ GB drive of my Mugen rosters or really desired Mugen games the winner lists/requests. Of course, there are other tiers and spots, such as 1st to 5th place, but this is for the #1 spot. This tournament is also meant to give out drives of Mugen for people to play Mugen on the go and for preservation as well!
📜 Eligibility:
Participants must be at least 13 years old to enter the tournament.
There are no regional limits—the tournament and prize claiming are open worldwide.
✧ What are the rules of this tournament? The rules are simple:
1. Each player forms a team of 4 characters.
2. Teams can include any characters, including OP characters, as long as they don’t break the game (no crashes, freezes, no instakills, must have hitboxes or infinite loops that break matches).
3. Teams must be submitted before the tournament starts and cannot be changed mid-tournament unless a character is proven to break the game.
4. Duplicates on the same team are not allowed (no stacking 4 of the same character).
5. Infinite combos are allowed.
6. Stalling or abusing game-breaking tactics (like hiding offscreen or avoiding combat for extended periods) is not allowed.
7. Good sportsmanship is required. No harassment, racist, anti- LGBTQ, or offensive behavior.
Note: Make sure you test your characters before the tournament, for the mugen version we will be using for the tournament is 1.0 for it is the most stable version of mugen. and, REMEMBER We are looking for serious contestants only. Please make sure you are fully committed to participating before registering, as last-minute dropouts or no-shows disrupt the tournament experience for everyone.
✧ What are the prizes?
The prizes go as follows:
Mugen Merchandise such as:
M.U.G.E.N Custom Hoodie (Large)
M.U.G.E.N Official Logo Hat
M.U.G.E.N Official Logo Sticker Pack
M.U.G.E.N Custom Keychain - in which the winner can choose the following: Akuma X, Wicked Witch's Law, A-Bomb, ONI-MIKO, Excellent Donald, Mathrus, and Crazy Catastrophe.
AND, USB or External Drive preloaded with: Full M.U.G.E.N game packs (these vary by place)
Which means:
🥇 1st Place: 1TB or 512GB Drive + Custom Role (in my discord server) + Custom Screenpack or Mugen Request + Digital Certificate or Badge
🥈 2nd Place: 256GB drive + Custom Role + Custom Screenpack edit + Digital Certificate or Badge
🥉 3rd Place: 128GB drive + Custom Role (in my discord server) + a small digital gift card (e.g., $5–$10)
🏅 4th Place: 64GB drive + Custom Role (in my discord server) + Profile Avatar Frame (for discord or any social)
🏅 5th Place: 32GB MUGEN drive + Custome role (in my discord server) + Personalized Thank-You Note + "Spirit of the Game" Award
Best part is it doesn't matter what place you are in, you still get the merchandise not only the drive.
✧ How do I claim the prizes?
You can claim the prizes via reaching out to my on discord or AK1. OR if you are ALREADY in my discord server it's no problem if you put your discord @ in the submission form I will look for you there and DM you a form for you to submit your info. and remember...
When submitting your information to claim your prize (such as name, mailing address, and contact info), please be assured that:
✅ Your personal information is 100% safe and confidential.
🔒 We will only use your information for the sole purpose of sending out prizes.
🚫 Your data will not be shared, sold, or stored long-term. All personal details will be deleted after the prizes are shipped.
⏰ Prize Claim Deadline:
Winners must submit their prize claim details within 5 days of the tournament's end date.
If no response is received within that period, the prize will be forfeited. (I spent too much money on these prizes for you guys to be just not claiming them)
By entering the tournament, you confirm that you meet the age requirement and agree to these terms. you ALSO have the right to request to have your mugens you want all into one zip/rar file for you to download on your own time :D
