We usually just post a Youtube link instead of a full on mp4 file. Besides, this way no one will just steal your video and reupload it to youtube.
I disagree with what you say there. By posting only the link, these videos would sometimes get deleted or lost from YouTube unexpectedly, but by uploading them, it saves them from going missing or being taken down when you are searching for them on the internet. Also, give some examples of someone who stole some Mugen videos and then reuploaded them to YouTube. From what I've seen, the majority of these reuploads I've seen are from the original owners, who re-edit or reupload their older videos from many years ago.
