it works, do you have any idea why doesn't my older mugen support 4v4?

i downloaded 4v4 and 3v3 from all the sites i can find and it still does not work. i put it in the same file where my mugen.exe is , and when i try to open 4v4 or 3v3 , this error comes up: "The procedure entry point Mix_QuerySpecEx could not be located in the dynamic link library C:\Users\Person\Downloads\mugen\4v4.exe."
