Mugen runs well I want to use this for a future mugen project but I feel like there isn't many chars tied to specifically winmugen anymore and it's mainly 1.0/1.1 chars on the rise now. I would have to dig deep into some old winmugen mugens and use chars from those. who knows I'll think of filling this up and releasing it to the public eventually.

The screenpack is literally so beautiful definitely filling this up for sure.  

So, this screenpack is pretty okay. I am going to admit I was a bit SLOW on having this screenpack because I didn't see around 7k slots thought it already came with that so assumed it was another svcum 1.1 situation where ppl were like "oh its around 5k slots" when really it was around 7k

but then I re-read this and found out yknow you have to add it on yourself but even so I wasn't sure how to (for anyone curious it came with around 2k slots). it didn't give any instructions how. either way this screenpack was okay and the music for it is so catchy and nostalgic. the only problem is that the characters names don't show up when selecting them, so there were so many gaps of actual missing characters I couldn't fix lmao that's just how it is. 

My roster is available for download for sure if anyone is interested but yeah there should def be instructions for the addon for sure unless I am dumb and didn't notice them lol 

This got hella issues and let me explain. this screenpack is a banger, the design is great, the ability to change the slots and everything is great. BUT, it has so many memory issues and my pc has 16gb of RAM. literally no joke, as soon as I was able to complete the mugen especially with the 1300+ slot ver to share with everyone on my channel. 

This shit kept crashing lol, I applied the 4gb fix and it worked but then now every character was not working it kept crashing. so, I was looking for a 1.0 version of it and the links for it were DEAD. especially, the winmugen one. so I tried yknow tweaking some settings in the mugen.cfg and it would work for a bit but everytime a match ended that shit would crash saying: "out of memory" like yeah this screenpack is finished lol wallahi it's finished lol

It sucks because no one else made a mercury mugen roster and made it available for people to download and I am starting to see why. Dragonesku & OldGamer if you see this please fix this screenpack, this is such an amazing screenpack and it just sucks it has so many issues to where people can't even use it. they apply a patch, still has an issues, they tweak a few settings and still some issues. now I have to go to my server and tell everyone to pick a NEW screenpack because it just feels like I filled this one up for nothing. 

10/10 great screenpack but from personal experience of someone who finally managed to fill this up and made it downloadable here:

this was actually more than 5k, it was 7k. there is a total of 7836 chars in there. 

Can't wait to fill this up and share this with everyone soon, it might take a while but it will be worth it. 😄 

Looks pretty neat and it's rare? nice! I might make a strictly touhou based mugen with this screenpack then and by the looks of it it looks like a mugen dedicated to putting only strictly not only regular touhou characters but cheapie touhou characters as well 🙂 

I remember how back then these type of mugens were a big deal. although while growing up I wasn't too much of a fan of them because you couldn't actually see yourself select the character. but now that I am older, mugens like this is a pretty good because at least when you have your roster is filled up you won't have to deal with missing chars being seen on the roster  good post. it brings me back indeed.

I agree with OldGamer he spilled. like, this really is a nice idea but lets be honest here no one up in here likes Mugen Archive and honestly, highly recommend for example like in my personal opinion maybe make a MFFA or andersonkenya1 screenpack.

That would be so good, other than that like what he said it's poorly made and overall, does need some improvement. not even I wanna download it even though I only download full games for the chars lmao.
