Originally he was an edit of Actarus' "CvS" Axel Stone (some call it "spriteswap", but he plays nothing like the base character due to having different special moves). Much like Mario and Luigi edits I made prior, few things were added, improved, and overhauled, and he still retains his "weapon mode" instead of crouching. Only some bunch of sprites were taken from Shazzo's third Sonic character (more specifically running animation and Sonic Spin special; yes, Shazzo made three different versions of Sonic, though the first one is more notable than the others).
