As of 11/25/2022, it was recently discovered that the character was found by a user named "Um Cool" who secretly re-uploaded the character on the MUGEN Archive website, which became a forgotten post that was overlooked upon for over 4 years until the discovery was made. To add prove that this is the right version of Bubsy being uploaded, NESMario123 (now known as RANK7YGO) himself confirmed in a comment that he was going to reupload the character before the user mentioned earlier reuploaded it & he also confirmed that it was the one with the "accurate platformer" gameplay, which means that this version of the bobcat has thankfully been preserved.
