The sloppy little faker. Actually not as bad as I thought it'd be, considering the last Pizza Tower character I reviewed.

PROS:

• Accurate moveset
• Good bit of the moves act as you'd expect

CONS:

• Sprites are all out of wack (uncropped, unalligned and unproper palettes)
• Super Jump and Head Toss could use a little work
• Some sprites in the 5000 groups would be quite nice

I Can Believe It's an Undercooked Pizza Tower Character!

I know somebody407 is working on a version of this guy, maiybe wait for that instead.

PROS:

absolutely none

CONS:

• Based upon the old MvC:EoH template
• A huge majority of his animations don't have hurtboxes
• 2 overpowered hypers that can and will instantly KO normal characters if they aren't blocked
• A lot of his sprites have a red outline instead of a black one
• Jump Heavy Punch takes away a lot of your health, not to mention a massive hitbox
• One of his specials does absolutely nothing
• Weird out-of-place animations

It's sad when the webseries that has the best rep in MUGEN is RWBY. Runner up being Angry Video Game Nerd (or if you even count it as a webseries, Vinesauce).

Pros:

• Saiko uses her better-looking redesign than her slightly uglier original design (the only other character I like that looks uglier in 3D is pre-NASB Garfield, seriously)
• She actually uses her hammer, which is a welcome surprise

Cons:

• Some of the spammiest AI I've seen (it's alongside early WlanmaniaX and pretty much every BeanFan creation, if not worse). This applies to the rest of the SMG4 girls.
• Lacking moveset
• I actually remembered why I wasn't too hot on the idea of Saiko in MUGEN with the hair being a glaring issue

To quote the Genie from Aladdin: "Ten thousand years will give you such a crick in the neck!"

I'm actually back, let's get this out of the way.

Pros:

• I honestly don't know if I can say anything nice about this.

Cons:

• Styled after BeanFan's creations
• 3 assists and they all punch
• Lacking and very uninspired moveset, assists aside
• The NSFW compatibilities. Like, seriously... what in the absolute fuck is wrong with Awaken?

MY NAME IS... SHAKE-ZULA, THE MIC RULA

While the original version by tannergates is... more-or-less one for novelty, this version greatly improves the mic rula by giving him tweaked specials, new hypers, huge gameplay changes... in other words, a massive overhaul.

PROS:

• The special changes were very much needed.
• The gameplay feels much more smoother
• Making a special that just feels weakly implemented into a hyper is a great move.
• All the new stuff that's added, especially the Super Hero hyper.
• The option to toggle the Adult Swim logo, if you want the match to feel like something that'd actually air on it.

CONS:

• Shake feels more lacking in specials than he does hypers.
• Although his gameplay has improved, he still feels a bit clunky in some areas.

SUGGESTIONS:

• Maybe add the Energy Drink back as a hyper that increases your speed or attack for a short period of time?
• Make the Standing Medium Punch feel slightly less slugish?
• Make a patch that may be more... YouTube-friendly? I'm not sure if the songs in the Headbangin' winpose could trigger the copyright, but just to be safe, a patch to just have all the songs be the ATHF theme/themes would be nice if we don't wanna worry about that.

It's been a while since I done one of these. Anyways, as beta tester, I may be a little biased here, but this is the best version of Jaiden around. The moveset is small, but the effort put into it is plenty. It also shown me that requested characters made by MUGEN kids are not great, but find the right creator, and a commissioned character can have a lot of heart and effort put into it.

PROS:

• Excellent moveset.
• The moves that were in AwesomeBlue's version are actually done right in this one.
• Simple but still easy-to-use gameplay.
• Some really great moves that are new to this version.
• The cute little bird that follows her around (I sadly don't watch Jaiden's videos, so I don't know its name, sorry).
• The Anime Jaiden hyper. Be able to pull it off on a low-health character and you'll know why I put this here.

THE ONLY CON:

• The NSFW bits, which are against her wishes against NSFW (but she also didn't want people attacking her on her behalf), but rating stays five-star because it's purely optional.

No pros and cons, there's just a lot leaking from both.

I will say that while we got a Puyo character that hasn't been represented in MUGEN yet, like any character from a newer anime or anyone who hasn't had decent sprites, I'm disappointed (again) this is another JUS character.

Would love if this was uploaded by someone else, other than that it's an okay character.

It's a Quietlife "creation." Jack-O or not, this guy's stuff are not worth downloading.

Take the comparison of Kyoko to Blossom too seriously, and you get what's probably one of The_None's best works (to me, right after Beavis and Butt-Head, and maybe if AI wasn't an issue, Thanos as well). This character seems pretty accurate to how River City Girls is, aside from adding bits of the original PPG series (which is a good thing, considering how PPG2016 went down). There are some things I don't like, but that's overshadowed by the good.

Pros:

• An excellent use of Kyoko's moveset, making this possibly the best one yet.
• Neat custom edits to her sprites.
• Quick on her feet, probably as quick as his Thanos.
• The bit with the phone exploding on her is a hilarious touch.

Cons:

• Her using what's possibly my least favorite AVGN character, Shit Pickle.
• No matter what your views on them today are, the door intro seems a little harsh when the Game Grumps are used in it.
• Maybe her using too much Blossom elements compared to Kyoko.

Honestly there isn't a lot of pros and cons to list them so...

Anyway, this Mario has a very interesting concept, using the actual power-ups. Sadly, this is nothing more than KFM with transformations that do nothing, and coding left over from KFM himself. Sprites also look really good, too. I'm not sure if this is a beta or a uploaded/leaked scrap. If it's the former, then I forgive it.

Having taken a look at this character before, it's best to watch the first match of this:

I think I already said my words multiple times on Joy Games' shit. This wasn't worth 5 stars though, so I'm attempting to fix that.

I feel mixed about this whole thing.

Pros:

• Excellent moves.
• Good spritework.
• Very unexpected choice for a character.

Cons:

• Very horrid AI, like, near Me and the Boys-tier to The_None Thanos-tier.
• Riddled with blocking-related bugs, especially in the air.
• Possible infinites, which I've noticed on certain KoF-styled characters.
• A ridiculously long hyper activated when low on health.
• Bland animations.

A highly accurate mini-game, just a few bugs here and there.

Pros:

• Accurate to Tsu's gameplay, right to the point of countering incoming Nuisance Puyo.
• Uses the sprites from the translation of the Super Famicom version so players can understand the mini-game and its mechanics well.
• Difficulty options as well, a first for a mini-game.

Cons:

• Will glitch out at times.
• Playing as character first, then mini-game second, or mini-game/character in Simul vs. character in Singles will cause more problems to arise, and sometimes a character won't be KO'd, causing you to reset the round.

Things to note:

For best results, set up a Simul vs. Simul match. Make sure the option for the team to lose once the leader is KO'd is active to avoid camera issues. Select "Puyo Puyo" first, then your character second. Then select the character you want to face, and the partner. If anything goes wrong, make sure you have debug keys on and reset the round.

The absolute best version of our smol blue-haired okatu. No questions asked.

Pros:

• Able to combo decently.
• Sprites are from (what I think) an official Lucky Star game? If so, that makes it better.
• References up the ass, aside from the Street Fighter ones. Very fitting for her.
• Various mechanics, that will either help you, or screw you over.

Cons:

• See comment on the mechanics above.
• Spammy AI, which usually spams her Shun Goku Satsu. On that topic...
• Shun Goku Satsu's command is really complicated, unlike the other takes on it.

Legit nothing I said got to this guy. *sigh*

Pros:

• Legit every single problem his previous characters had.

Other notes:

There is another version of The King (the one where a winquote said Tumblr raped him) that's much better than this one. Hell, I'd even prefer the boss version of him over this. Also (even if watching The King's Epic Adventure makes it obvious), Geibuchan, creator of the series this King is based on, hates Lucky Star.

Some characters don't deserve to be cloned. This is proof of it.

Pros:

• None. At all.

Cons:

• Evil Elmo is already cheap. This makes it worse.
• You already know how I feel about kids in the MUGEN community. This is also another piece of proof why they shouldn't be in it.

A pretty poor character then, and still a poor one now (especially with k6666orochi's Kyoko and The_None's Blossomko). This character has barely all of her moveset, plus, being a MvC incarnation, you can expect pretty bland moves, spammy AI and various other problems.

Pros:

• James' version was the first (complete) River City Girls character at the time.
• Hurricane Kick, Dragon Feet and basic combos accounted for.

Cons:

• This was built off a MvC template with spammy AI, so make of that what you will.
• One move is a simple animation, which is already a red flag.
• Bag Toss (and the fucking hyper varient of it) are pretty unfitting.
• Knowing Holn AI patched k6666orochi's earlier versions of Blake and Weiss, the AI patch might be as unforgiving as them.
• File size is bloated for a character that was originally around 1 or 2 MB.

Possibly the best Skullgirls character in M.U.G.E.N, period.

Pros:

• This aims for mostly source accuracy, with some differences.
• 4-button playstyle for those who don't wanna use 6 buttons

Cons:

• She feels a lot different compared to being in Skullgirls, though.

This is just a object show ruby with Ruby Rose's Crescent Rose.

Pros:

• None... like, what is this...?

Cons:

• Same person who made the shitty Skullgirls characters, so don't be expecting quality. Get Dawn de Era's David instead.

Some final words:

Ah, the time I was really into MUGEN and I tried fighting this thing multiple times. Much harder than Sonic 2's though.

Pros:

• Pretty accurate for a boss character, but not fully.
• The usage of Eggman voice clips make this better.
• The ability to make the opponent drop rings a la the Sonic games.

Cons:

• It's a boss character, so of course he's gonna be tough if you don't know what you're doing.
• As far as I know, stronger than Eggman's other machines converted to MUGEN, so he can kill in a few hits unless you have a lot of health. I could be wrong.

• Remember my other one-star, saying kids shouldn't touch MUGEN? This is absolutely the reason why. 
• The person who made this is also one of those kids who bash the opinions of people who bash creations by other kids who are friends with him. Case in point, the comments here:

Pros:

• Moves accurate to the show and Do America.
• Sprites are really fluid.
• Hilarious references to the show scattered here in there.

• Fast and insane gameplay most likely based off King of Fighters.

Cons:

• You might or might not risk a copyright strike if you use this for YouTube due to a winpose. I don't completely know.
