I remember how back then these type of mugens were a big deal. although while growing up I wasn't too much of a fan of them because you couldn't actually see yourself select the character. but now that I am older, mugens like this is a pretty good because at least when you have your roster is filled up you won't have to deal with missing chars being seen on the roster
good post. it brings me back indeed.
