  1. Khan (Source Accurate Edit)


    This is an edit of Nimame's Khan that makes him completely source accurate to HFTF

    LIST OF CHANGES:

    - Hitboxes completely overhauled to be source accurate. This was definitely the most time consuming process for me as
    there is no hitbox ripping application for HFTF, so I had to go frame by frame for every hitbox change and use minute
    references in the sprite compared to the hitbox placement and craft each hurtbox here. Luckily there is a fair amount
    of reused hitboxes so I didn't have to do as much as you think.

    - New AI patch made by me. It's tough AI, but it's Khan after all. He sucks so good characters can beat him.

    - All of Khan's alternate palettes are now accurate to HFTF. There were some very noticeable color differences
    that did not match Khan's actual HFTF colors but now they are fixed.

    - Frame data changed to match the information on the SuperCombo Khan wiki. There wasn't any drastic discrepancies from
    the source game however there was some notable differences like [4]6A/B being -14 on hit as opposed to 0 on hit.

    - Added proper hitstop on all of the moves that have them. Nimame's JoJo characters have this feeling of not being 100%
    HFTF, and a good reason for that is the lack of hitstop in certain attacks. There is 0 hitstop for whatever reason, and
    I added them here for the moves that have hitstop so it gives off that HFTF feeling when you land an attack.

    - Changed some damage values to accurate HFTF values. Nimame was actually surprisingly close to matching HFTF's damage
    values, however there were some big ones that were not at all like HFTF like Khan's DP.

    - Fixed 214AA to look like how it is in HFTF. Nimame had a weird looking Khan 214AA in his version, however I used my
    experience with playing Khan and revised 214AA to look like how it should.

    - Added channels for hit sounds. A small detail but HFTF has a single channel for hitsounds, so if you did two 2As the
    hitsound would not overlap, so I added it here.

    - New small portrait. It's just taken from the portraits folder and cropped with some of the blank area shaded in.

  3. Let's see

    • Sprites and animations are completed and polished to an extent, with any unfinished stuff either left to be finished in a later update or cut from the character
    • Character must have a moveset that is either casual enough for players or complex enough for watchers (if a character is meant to be played, don't make the character overly complex)
    • Be a visual spectacle with attacks, hyper portraits, etc., but not to a seizure-inducing extent
    • Should be able to work for 1.0, 1.1, and IKEMEN (no WinMugen-exclusive characters)
    • If balanced, should have a solid range of attacks, specials, and hypers without attacks and hurtboxes being recycled throughout
    • A.I. should either be fair enough for a casual player to fight with a balanced character, or should be entertaining to watch
      • Better yet if both are true
      • Unless the character is designed to be utterly broken, A.I. should not be obnoxious with either nigh-endless blocking or nigh-endless gate-locking or both
    • If a character is meant to be fully serious, focus on what you had in mind when creating the character, whether they be original, arranged, or source accurate so it is fun to play or watch on its own
    • If a character is meant to be somewhat or completely goofy, try to embrace that goofiness to the point where it is fun to play or watch on its own
    • Cannot simply be a cheapie that destroys most enemies with no effort, even if it has badass music or is a visual spectacle (which is why I hate WinMugen-exclusive characters)
    • Should not contain anti-code or anti-modes designed to make a character unbeatable under certain circumstances (as much as the rest of the character(s) may fulfill most of these requirements, this one sin can taint my opinion of said character(s) if it is present)

  4. GLaDOS


    Despite being designed for I Wanna Be The Guy: The M.U.G.E.N.-based Fangame, as she appears in I Wanna Be The Fangame alongside Mecha-Spaghettio and Sticky Keys, this version of GLaDOS plays nothing like any other boss in the game.  Instead, she is a more direct conversion of her boss fight in the original Portal.  You have to either knock the Cores off yourself or trick the missile-launcher to aim for GLaDOS directly or through the portals on the sides of the stage.  Once you've knocked off a Core, you have to destroy a red button to open up the furnace and push the Core into the furnace.  You have to do this a total of three times (four times if you count the Core that falls off of GLaDOS before the fight itself starts).  Plus, you have to beware of having the missiles hit you and touching the furnace yourself, AND you have to defeat GLaDOS within six minutes.  After six minutes, you'll be OHKOed by her deadly neurotoxin.  And no, you cannot go through the portals yourself, unless you are playing as The Kid or The Lad.  Good luck.
