It’s a conversion from MUGEN’s cousin SFXVI (unlike Knuckle Fighter engines seemed to be filled with actual content and not mostly Japanese memes and weird stuff), very simple in gameplay but it works. Considering the creation is about 2 decades old, it shows (like kinda garbled sound). As long Umi exists at least as a striker for this engine, I’m happy. On the other hand many people would rather touch the KOF-based more recent version by Rikard which has been left unfinished but remains a hella nice work. 1 Link to review
