  1. Mugen TV

    By Mugen Toons
A stage that frames the battle as if it were taking place on a TV. Every now and then someone comes in and changes the channel, which also changes the background. An interesting idea, but there's only 3 different backgrounds: a Flintstones one, a South Park one, and a Peanuts one. Technically means this is also a cartoon stage? Not sure where to put this.
    Lowres, animated.

"MAMA HAD A CHICKEN, MAMA HAD A COW, DAD WAS PROUD, HE DIDN'T CARE HOW *dunnadunnadunnadunna*"
    Hires.

Also DOESN'T NORMALLY WORK IN 1.0+
to fix the stage so that it DOES work in 1.0+, go to the stage's .def file and under "[StageInfo]", add "hires = 1", then save

  4. Dead God's Pad

    By Chunky
From The World Ends With You. I'm not sure why but this makes newer versions of MUGEN (like 1.1) lag like crazy. Lowres, animated.

  5. Fish Tank

    By Chunky
Chunky was a big fan of unorthodox stages, and this one is no exception...this one has your fighters swimming around in a tiny fish tank, complete with fish! In spite of the wonky coding, it's a fun stage. Lowres.

  6. [adult swim]

    By Dishamonpow
A simple stage done in the style of the black-and-white bumps [adult swim] is widely known for. You can tell this was made in 2007 because it talks about things like Judgespear's Homer. Lowres.

  7. Spongebob (Placemario) Silly Soundpack

"Silly soundpack" for Placemario/Felixmario2011's second Spongebob I made all the way back in 2011. "Spaghetti", "DINNER" and "Mama Luigi" are among the many low-quality sounds in this soundpack. I don't think it's very good but it might get a cheap laugh out of you.

  8. Cartoon Guy

    By N_N/kil0-meter, Swoogg, Daniel9999999, Timote95 and arcadboy
A """""MVC2""""" edit of Cartoon Guy that I did with Swoogg all the way back in 2016. Swoogg pitched in a few things here and there, and I added more moves, sounds, and tons of effects.
I polished him up a little right before I uploaded this, if only to fix some of the more blatant bugs. I'm not too proud of this nowadays, though I definitely feel like there are people out there that would enjoy it a little.

  9. WTF Arena

This stage consists of a single sprite, seemingly edited from some other game. Oh and there's a big ol WTF on the floor.

  10. Big Eli

    By Big Eli King
Big Eli King's self-insert, made way back in 2000 when there were barely any characters of the sort. Can switch between two different modes, Power and Speed. In Power mode he gets a lot bulkier at the cost of his mobility, and in Speed he becomes faster at the cost of having weaker attacks. A fairly standard but interesting character nonetheless.

  11. Super Mario World Intro

    By nick09
This stage is pretty much a .gif of the Super Mario World title screen, or rather part of one. Comes with sound that syncs itself up to the stage. Lowres.

  12. Tiff Lagomorph

A shapeshifting bunny girl, who as far as I can assume is Boss Lagomorph's OC, with gameplay loosely based off the Marvel vs. Capcom series. If you like strange, obscure, and/or old stuff then you'll probably get a kick out of this.

    DOESN'T NORMALLY WORK IN 1.0+
to make it so that she DOES work in 1.0+, go to the common1.cns in her folder (not the one in your MUGEN data's folder), and where it says
    "[State 132, 1]
    type = ChangeAnim
    trigger1 = Anim != 132"
put "value = 132" underneath all that, then save

It's not everyday that you get to see 3D Gundam characters, let alone one from the year 2000. According to the readme, this is apparently an enemy from a Gundam tabletop RPG.

  14. Kung Fu Girl [old version]

    By じょにー (Johnny)
A different version of Kung Fu Girl from the one already on the site. Compared to the other one, this one has less refined, cartoonier sprites and a pretty different moveset. If her HP gets low enough she can even call in Kung Fu Man himself!
