  1. Boyfriend

Boyfriend from Friday Night Funkin' by EmmanuelMugen1331
The... third? Forth...? Uh, version of the main character of Friday Night Funkin'. Like IgnitionGrimmy's version, this one is custom sprited, but it's luckily not a pain to look at. This I think is built off Alexander's edit (I definitely could be wrong), but this has much more to it, and actually includes a finisher, as well as a signal telling you when you can call for Girlfriend. I can't really tell if it's the best, but at least it's the best custom sprited version.

  2. Marina (Splatoon 2)

Marina from Splatoon 2 by Alexander Cooper 19 (simply credited as Alexander)
This Octoling pop star is mainly based on the Splatfests in the game (mainly Mayo vs. Ketchup or Forks vs. Spoons). There's appaerently a updated version that came with Alexander's full game, so I might get that and upload it seperate (this is the standalone release from Corndog on corndog from MUGEN Archive).
2nd file: 4.5 Version. This version is from the Zander's MUGEN v4.5 fullgame and is slightly but vastly different from the original version I posted. She has a reworked AI, a counter, a DJ move (I blame this for the bloated file size), and an Inkling Girl assist.

    eNergy by N_N
    From the author:
Both files preloaded with the screenpack over fresh MUGEN builds. systemA.def (159 slots) is selected by default (and is the select screenshot). 640x480.
1st file: MUGEN 1.0 preloaded with screenpack, already set up
2nd file: MUGEN 1.1 preloaded with screenpack, already set up
Lifebars included are the Marvel Super Heroes lifebar by Doorhenge and edited for 1.0 and 1.1 by Brow_777, as the screenpack came without lifebars.

  4. Boyfriend

    Boyfriend by Camren Springer
This is a... version of Boyfriend. It's not the worst, or the cheapest, but it's alright. Uses sprites based on the game like pvzfan92's version, but with a lot less moves, Girlfriend watching the fight (with one move of her own), and a unique speaker move. Doesn't really set it apart from most of the versions of Boyfriend, though, as most of the moves are the same.

    Princess Dizzy by Mekstik
    ~ Gazpacho

An edit of a version of Dizzy based of the MUGEN Archive admin of the same name. A cheap character with possibly what seems like Rare Akuma's Shun Goku Satsu and health regen. Not even Time Overs or F1 presses can save your ass.
    Uploaded only for collection purposes.

  6. All Might

    All Might by thepyrohero
A rather broken and stiff All Might made using the MvC:EoH template, as well as edited Superman sprites (which said edits... are weird). There isn't much to speak of as he only has a few specials and hypers. Said hypers kill normal characters rather easy (even if they block) due to the high damage values and his 130 attack.

  7. Garfield

Garfield by fer619 and aperson98, edited by AverageMaster.
This edit brings new moves and more comboing potential to an old character. Also adds more voice clips (including one from the live-action movie) and revamps his winquotes. Actually would prefer this over the original (which is good on it's own, don't get me wrong).

  8. Hatsune Miku (Light ver.)

Hatsune Miku Light by YU-TOHARU (last updated 5/20/2010)
Basically an old version of Miku, but without a lot of song-based hypers cramping up the file space. Still has 3000+ sprites and that really long hyper. Good news, it's under 30 MB. Bad news, it doesn't work on 1.0 or 1.1, just WinMUGEN (at least from what I tried).

  9. Brian Griffin

    Brian Griffin by Giano Vagrante
A more recent version of Brian, being a total revamp/edit/overhaul or whatever of [IN]famous' version of the Griffin family dog. Has two Stewie assists and reworked moves to resemble Kung Fu Man less.
Quoted from the readme (which isn't much):

Sad. Just a sad spriteswap of Moar Krabs. Also these logos aren't really scary! I mean, I had a fear of the fucker below growing up!

  11. Boyfriend

Boyfriend from Friday Night Funkin' by pvzfan92
    (Stance resized for my sanity)
A more recent version of the blue-haired hero, but God, he's such a mess. Especially where assists are concerned. He has custom AI (or maybe that from the template he used) and a majority of the assists come from mods rather than the actual game. And multiple can be on screen at the same time. Even worse? The internal files that call him Keith, when it obviously isn't his name (that's been made official it wasn't, BTW).
I can't tell which is worse, testing this to almost lose my sanity on Mother's Day, or the author saying DDLC sucks on one of his uploads of his Baldi (which his game is pretty awful for a parody, too). I'm just glad this didn't use the SMvC: EoH template.

  12. Ruby Rose

Ruby Rose by OHMSBY, edited by Mushypepito123
Not the best version or edit of Ruby out there, as this removes the Bursts (as far as I know) for more custom ones and adds a super jump like a lot of MvC-based edits, as well as makes her even worse to fight by bumping the power stock from the default 2000 to MvC's 5000. Would be best to stick to the original.

(To use with M.U.G.E.N 1.0, save the SFF as the version 1.0 uses.)

  13. Muscle Man

Muscle Man by BeanFan112 (last updated 8/23/2015)
A rather interesting relic from 5 years ago, this is the completely untouched (re)release of BeanFan's final version of Muscle Man from before he retired. I even gave my own feedback from a long lost video from when I had the Garfieldfan22 name (I split my non-MUGEN stuff into TheGarfster, leaving the name Garfieldfan for my MUGEN stuff). I know BeanFan's stuff wasn't... great, but this shows he did try to improve sometime before his retirement.

  14. Tim Allen/Taylor

Tim Taylor (played by Tim Allen) from Home Improvement by Brergrsart
One of the newcomers in the full game Vargverse, and a sitcom character actually done right. Uses moves based off and sprites from the (rather infamous) SNES game based off the series, as well as a few show references thrown into the mix. Honestly one of the reasons I was pumped for this game to come out.
    Moveset can be found here.

    1st file: Original 1.1 release
    2nd file: 1.0 version
3rd file: 1.1(?) release, minus the Vinetrigger.

  15. Ramona Flowers

    Ramona Flowers by Jerii Uzimaki
This... is possibly one of the worst Scott Pilgrim conversions out there, and there are like, three in the same boat. This Ramona uses the infamous Super Marvel vs. Capcom - Eternity of Heroes template, is horribly overpowered, uses voice clips that I don't think might be Ramona's... At least I included a 1.0 patch from jabar3000 on Archive, because this was 1.1 only for some reason...
Hey, at least she can get revenge on someone else who weilds a giant heavy hammer now, and I don't mean The Mask or Thor.
    Jokes aside,this Ramona is shit.

  16. Shadow Lady

Shadow Lady by WhiteMagic2002, edited by Dragonfaku
The other half of Dragonfaku's Chun-Li edit, instead overhauling the character to become Shadow Lady, the alternate, unlockable cyborg version of her from MvC1. Only this time, it's like if someone made a really good version of her, but someone else made a MvC2 effect edit sometime soon after. In my opinion, the best Shadow Lady we have at the moment right now.

  17. Steven Universe

    Steven Universe by mrgamer123
This Steven uses what I believe are custom sprites and can combo pretty easily, making him a pretty dangerous opponent. He has the most amount of hypers I've seen in a character (eight, to be exact, including one Ultimate move). Needs a little more work, but easily the best version of Steven out there.
Weird that I enjoy this version, because I don't like the show. I just couldn't find this anywhere else but Archive (there used to be a link on YouTube, but I think the channel closed).

  18. The Garfield.com Flash Collection

A collection of Flash games and interactive animations that were on Garfield.com before being shut down in 2020 by ViacomCBS. Fucking dicks...
All games and animations by Paws, Inc.
The collection contains the following (as of right now):
Lasagna from Heaven (Flash and Shockwave Versions):  In this game, you control Garfield via mouse and have him eat lasagna and other foods, and have him avoid TVs, books, vases, and Odie. Beware, as in the Shockwave version, you can lose a life for missing food. Punt the Pooch: In this game, you have to see how far you can make Garfield kick Odie. The further you send him, the better your score. Dingle Ball: In this game, you help Odie catch dingle balls, his favorite toy. Garfield's Scary Scavenger Hunt 1 & 2: In these games, Garfield goes on the hunt for donuts. (split into several SWF files for each game. Have no idea how to get them to work, but included them here anyway.) Escape from Hotel Muncie: Based off Garfield Gets Real, help Billy Bear get Garfield and his friends out of the burning, abandoned Hotel Muncie. Krazy Kennel Breakout: Based off Garfield: A Tail of Two Kitties. Garfield needs to rescue Odie and escape to England with Jon.  Bean Me!: Garfield drinks coffee that makes him blow up. Nothing unique, but good for a laugh. The Amazing Garfield: Garfield pulls a card trick. Flash Player Debugger: Required in order to play these.

  19. Super Mario World - Overworld

    Overworld by yours truly, Garfieldfan.
The other one of two stages I made for a MFFA/MFG double release. This is my take on SMW's overworld areas, complete with blocks, pipes, coins, bushes and enemies in the background. This has a restored track as the BGM, which was looped by me (I had plans on looping the Yoshi varient, maybe in a update to it), as well as Super Jump and (1.1 only) enemies in the background and zoom. I might consider the possibility of a forest varient of the stage but this is it for now.
SMWOverworld.def is the lacking 1.0 version and SMWOverworld-1.1.def is the 1.1 version that has zoom and enemies in the background. (All 3 screenshots are taken on the 1.1 DEF version.)

  20. Not Shane

    Not Shane by Brergrsart
One of Vargverse's newcomers and the best version of Not Shane for the engine yet. His attacks range from trying to get a drink from the bartender, to the... vulture. He mainly uses his gun, however, making that one Persona/Smash meme kinda relevant here.
1st file is the 1.1 version, 2nd file is the 1.1 version without the Vinetrigger and the 3rd file is the 1.0 version
(Archives have been edited to include Not Shane's moveset.)

  21. Chun-Li

Chun-Li by WhiteMagic2002, edited by Dragonfaku
This takes WhiteMagic's Chunners and adds the Shichisei Senkuu-Kyaku, removes the Spinning Bird Kick (it wouldn't appear in the MvC series until Vanilla MvC3), and makes it like a generic MvC2 edit. This is one half of the edit, I'll be uploading the other.

  22. Kim Pine

(Okay, first off, have no idea where this goes. If anyone can correct me if possible, it's be great. Thanks!)
Kim Pine from the Scott Pilgrim series by Zior
Kim Pine, as she appears in the video game. This is based entirely on Basara-kun's Scott, only his moves were replaced with her's from said game. The only thing that's unchanged from Scott are a few hit sprites and the Knives assist. Sadly, the sprites are... kind of an issue, as some of them are't alligned properly, but she's not... bad, far from it. She just has a few issues that need ironed out.

  23. .GIFfany

    .GIFfany by Dream Chord
I can't really tell if this is supposed to be a boss or not. All you do is attack clones of .GIFfany as she pretty much blocks your screen. Oh yeah, she also gets mad if you perform a hyper, much like the Gravity Falls episode she originates from. I am also unsure if this works outside of WinMUGEN, as that's the only version of MUGEN I tested this on.

  24. SpongeBob SquarePants

    SpongeBob SquarePants by MyYoutube Rocks
In honor of the character's birthday, here's a SpongeBob that has decent custom sprites, but is really lacking.
Has all standing basics, reuses all animations for crouching attacks, and has no air basics. Also has two specials, only one dealing damage, a generic Wlanman-ish projectile hyper, and a Goofy Goober Rock hyper that's really inconsistant with sprites, opting for GBA sprites instead.
The sprites are good, but I'd stick with The 14th Doctor's edits of either FelixMario or Madoldcrow's SpongeBobs.
