  1. Pooch the Pup

Pooch was created by the Walter Lantz Studio as one of the many rivals to Mickey back in the 30s. He served as the predecessor to characters like Andy Panda, Chilly Willy, and of course Woody Woodpecker. This guy seems to be Crowsar's favorite of the 30s cartoon stars.

  2. Felix the Cat

The OG funny animal of cartoons himself, Felix the Cat! This is the original version of this character, not Dawn de Era's edit. Crowsar, the author of this version, dislikes Dawn de Era's edit, especially since Dawn de Era's version changed up the gameplay all together from his vision.

  3. Bimbo the Dog

After Felix the Cat fell out of his prime, and before Looney Tunes hit it bigtime, Fleischer Studios was the greatest rival to Walt Disney. While Fleischer is more well known for Betty Boop and Popeye, Bimbo was one of the first of their characters and was conceived as a rival to Mickey. Hell, Fleischer had such a rivalry with Disney that in one of Bimbo's most iconic shorts, "Bimbo's Initiation", it begins with Bimbo falling into a manhole that then gets locked up by Mickey himself! In short, Bimbo was the original, most mischievous foil to the seemingly squeaky clean Mickey, but he didn't last as long as his contemporaries from the same company.

  4. Foxy

Back in the 30s, Mickey Mouse was the hottest cartoon character on the market, even more so than he is today. Warner Bros. decided that they needed a character to directly compete with him...but what they created was a full-on knockoff of Mickey Mouse, named Foxy.

  5. Bosko, the Talk-Ink Kid

Bosko, the Talk-Ink Kid was the first ever Looney Tunes/Merrie Melodies character, debuting back in 1929 in an unaired pilot short, and in 1930 in "Sinkin' In the Bathtub", which marked two of the earliest cartoons to feature soundtrack-synchronized speech and dancing. While he may have been the earliest Looney Tune, made during a time before Warner Bros. found their footing with Looney Tunes, and a character that led to innovation in the animation industry, I wouldn't consider Bosko to be a great character on his own merit. When it comes to his design, he was conceived in 1927 as a "negro boy" and maintained blackface stereotypes for a good while, even though Rudolf Ising denied that he was ever meant to be this. Hell, when Bosko's creators went over to MGM, Bosko went right back to being blackface to an even more obvious extent... Besides, most of his cartoons, with a few exceptions, were far off from the more anti-Disney style they'd go with once they entered the mid-30s with Porky Pig. But hey, that's just my opinion.

In M.U.G.E.N., Bosko plays similar to other creators by the same author.

  6. Nonowa-san

    のワの

Nonowa-san is a meme based on Haruka of Idolm@ster and her thinking expression. She was created by an anonymous artist on /ogame/ (live for online games) on 2channel (not to be confused with 2chan/Futaba Channel) back in 2007, and led to a lot of art pieces made of the character. She even got a chance to cameo in THE iDOLM@STER Dearly Stars: Neue Green, as well as in the 2011 Idolm@ster anime.

This character, as a result, is rather zany. She is a PlayStation era 3D model with plenty of crazy and trollish attacks, including an attack from referencing Takakazu Abe. Don't ask.

I dunno, that's not really my field. I can teach you how to add one if you have access to admincp

I would think that I would have access, since I am a moderator. I would appreciate you teaching me, so I could help with getting all of these categories set up, along with you.

It's not solely for inflation, it's just stuff that doesn't have nudity that I'm not comfortable with having be on the main page

    I see...

So, are you planning on adding any other subcategories for the 18+ section?

  9. Producer

The character you play as in the Idolm@ster franchise. You are a producer of a group of j-pop idols, helping to lad them to stardom under 765. He has a "P" for a head in his M.U.G.E.N. depiction, due to how he is a blank slate character who we are to control.

Well cant just copy people lol otherwise we might as well just fully incorporate into the Archive team

I'll try to think even more about making certain categories but there are instances where it does make things more organized

So, I realized a few things

    1. You got the wrong logo for Sengoku Basara X. You used a "visual novel" logo for that, when we don't have a Visual Novel section.  This would be the correct logo:

    Sengoku_Basara_X_Cross_Logo.png

    2. A few more sections and subsections are in order:

    - Nintendo: Super Smash Bros.

    - Bandai Namco: The Idolm@ster

    - Nijikaku: Nijikaku Edits (since there are a bunch of Nijikaku edits in the Edits section, and said edits are typically grouped with the non-edited version)

    - 20th Century Fox: Futurama

    - Video Game Characters: LISA

    - Konami: Mystical Ninja

    - Anime/Cartoons/TV & Manga/Comics Characters: K-On!

    - Anime/Cartoons/TV & Manga/Comics Characters: My Hero Academia

    - Anime/Cartoons/TV & Manga/Comics Characters: Haruhi Suzumiya

    - Kawaii Characters: Eight Marbles 2X

Okay. Just thought I would clarify my decisions. Thank you for your understanding.

HMmmmmmm all these categories kinda makes things complex does it. Got some overlap here with putting Family Guy and Simpsons in Fox

Indeed, it does make things very complex. I know the Archive people did it, and I thought by doing so it would keep the downloads a tad more organized.
