    Fish Tank

View File Fish Tank By Chunky Chunky was a big fan of unorthodox stages, and this one is no exception...this one has your fighters swimming around in a tiny fish tank, complete with fish! Woody is a very simple character. Yet it works! Even though he doesn't have much to offer in terms of a moveset, the few moves he has feel nice and crisp and go together very solidly, and you can tell O Illusionista was passionate about creating this one. A few of the touches Illusionista added, such as the flying damage numbers, help make Woody stand out from other characters, not to mention the unique choice of effects. There are a couple of weird bugs like Woody suddenly becoming invincible when taunting, but nothing too bad. Unfortunately there really isn't much I can say about Woody besides the fact that he's functional, what with the limited moveset and all. As it stands though, Woody is a decent demonstration of "less is more".

    Roster 06-14-22

Another roster image :0 317 characters, plus 1 random slot. I'm pretty satisfied with this as a whole, but it kinda sucks that I have to switch screenpacks now seeing as I've filled this one up to the brim.
  7. This Ed is very fun: it's great that Wlan used the sound effects from the show, and a lot of his animations are funny and carry the same energy the original cartoon had. Unfortunately he's also pretty buggy-for example, the standing hard kick alone can take out almost 1/3 of the opponent's life bar-and doesn't function the greatest. Overall though, the presentation is great.
  8. On a similar note, when I forget I have a certain character installed, let's say Rare Akuma for example, and then run into that certain character all of a sudden
  9. The earliest roster of mine that I'm aware of. There's like 5 different Spongebobs and it's amazing. This only exists through an old video of mine which is why there's a Bandicam watermark. Character list for the curious:
  10. View File Spongebob (Placemario) Silly Soundpack "Silly soundpack" for Placemario/Felixmario2011's second Spongebob I made all the way back in 2011. "Spaghetti", "DINNER" and "Mama Luigi" are among the many low-quality sounds in this soundpack. I don't think it's very good but it might get a cheap laugh out of you. 12. One of the many rosters I've had over the years. It's kind of weird to think this one is over 5 years old now because it definitely doesn't feel that way to me. Note the sheer amount of Pokemon characters... (The seemingly blank spot next to Lucario is Meta Knight)
  13. Pretty interesting "what if" edit of Shin and Neo's Luigi that shows what'd it be like if it were fleshed out just a little bit more. Honestly if I were told beforehand that this was an unreleased Luigi update from 2002, I would believe it.
  14. In June 2007 MugenJF put out a Spongebob character that was a spriteswap of N64Mario's Metool. It was kind of like Metool if he were Spongebob and instead of dropping a giant Metool on the opponent he dropped a giant burger instead. It's such a weird spriteswap, and that's exactly why I want it. While the "Release 2.0 Evolution" version of JF's Spongebob is pretty common nowadays, this one is anything but common. The video above and this archive of MugenJF's site https://web.archive.org/web/20070701053651/http://mugenjf.bravehost.com/chars.htm are just about the only things proving its existence. I've always been curious about this ever since I saw the video above in 2009, and I think even back then it was hard to come by. It's a super-duper long shot and I doubt almost anybody held onto him for that long, but I'm giving it a try anyway.
  15. View File Cartoon Guy By N_N/kil0-meter, Swoogg, Daniel9999999, Timote95 and arcadboy A """""MVC2""""" edit of Cartoon Guy that I did with Swoogg all the way back in 2016. Swoogg pitched in a few things here and there, and I added more moves, sounds, and tons of effects. I polished him up a little right before I uploaded this, if only to fix some of the more blatant bugs. I'm not too proud of this nowadays, though I definitely feel like there are people out there that would enjoy it a little. Submitter kil0-meter Submitted 05/29/2022 Category Original Characters

  17. Very weird edits indeed...I don't understand most of them, but they're filled with Korean injokes. Even the name itself is one, it's a joke on how Squidward's Korean name sounds like "miss miss" when said backwards. They're definitely interesting, and kind of like the Korean counterpart to the other squidward edit Joe.
  18. Big fan of this Jedah! Even though this version is in more of a custom style, he's very fun to play.
  19. Neat stuff! Lots of songs I gotta listen to. If you're willing to include producers, there's a Dutch producer by the name of Nicolay out there who makes some great beats. He has a few albums of nothing but the stuff, "City Lights" comes to mind. There's also The Boulevard Connection, a group of Danish producers who have similarly made some good stuff.
  20. This stage always takes me back to 2011 when I would attempt to build the biggest rosters possible and this came with one of the screenpacks I downloaded. In other words, certified_hood_classic.wav
  21. A lot of these guys aren't that fun nowadays but when they first came out I thought they were amazing! Thanks for the upload, makes me feel like I'm in 2012 again.
