    Final is the final boss, main antagonist, and unlockable playable character from The Black Heart.
    Final is a huge creature who lives in Chaos, the same place where the Shar-Makai come from. He is the one responsible for breaking into the king's castle and stealing his heart, known as the Black Heart. Final now hides in Chaos, where the main characters come to him, all for different reasons. As the other Black Heart characters' stories are completed, much-needed light is shed on Final's "crime."

    Animus has been locked inside an iron maiden for more than 400 years. Back in 1605, by decree of the prince, a troop of soldiers from the other world was sent to capture the iron maiden. The guards retrieved it, from the basement of a huge castle in Transylvania, unaware of its contents. Once in the other world it was put under strict guard in a prison. But, one day, that iron maiden opened and Animus was released. An inner voice spoke to him telling him to go to Chaos and find a creature called Final. Animus starts a journey to learn his identity and hunts answers to the many questions that have plagued him for so long. Why does he suffer so much? Why can't he die? He only wishes to be free after more than 400 years of endless suffering.

When the king of the other world is murdered and his heart is ripped out, the huge power emanated from it awakens the ghost who escapes the doll and kills the collector. Noroko travels through the worlds searching for the heart hoping its power can end her suffering and grudge.

He tamed them, changed their bodies and bent their minds to become his loyal servants. When the king is killed, the prince sends his army of Shar-makais to recover the heart. They are the perfect army: Shar-makais can change their size at will and become small enough to be undetected and they can plant embryos in their victim's bodies so they can multiply even after being killed.

    Peketo is an insane child obsessed with color red. His father was a violent man who beat him and practiced occult arts. Peketo secretly learned the occult arts by spying on his father. One day, Peketo accidentally opened a portal to the other world and was amazed by all the beautiful red he saw and by the power of the king, which could be felt far away. The portal closed and he was brought back to earth in disappointment. Obsessed with the new world he started killing people just to see the red of their blood, which was the only red similar to the one of the other world. He killed his father and many more people before being captured, and finally murdered as a vengeance by one of the victim's relatives. Eventually, he was resurrected as a strange ghost through the many pacts he made while practicing occultism. As a ghost he traveled freely to the other world to seek out the heart and claim that wonderful power as his own.
